yeah just remember, balthazar faction UNLOCKS skills for pvp and heroes. It doesn't unlock them on your pve character. You still need to use tomes or the skill trainer to actually learn them on your pve character.

If you are trying to get elite skills for a pve character, you MUST get them by using a signet of capture and killing the boss, or you can use an Elite Tome on a previously unlocked elite skill. The same goes for regular skills. The skill may be unlocked, but if the character is pve, that character needs to purchase the skill with gold in game in order to use the skill.
PvP-only characters on the other hand, have all unlocked skills available to use, but is only limited to playing pvp. Unlocking skills via Balthazar faction only unlocks skills for pvp only characters and heros. It also unlocks the regular skills in case you want to purchase the skills from a skill trainer. For example, in Prophecies, Conjure Lightning (or was it Frost?) isnt available until the final skill trader at the end of the game. If the skill is unlocked with a previous character, this skill will be available to all characters to purchase from the very first skill trader. |
